Solutions Engineer — Philadelphia or Remote

We’re looking for a talented and passionate account expansion Solutions Engineer to join our team. The Solution Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Sales Team in selling all CampusESP products and services. This role is ideally based in the Philadelphia area but can be remote in the following states: AL, AR, CT, GA, IA, IL, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, WV.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • The Solution Engineer (SE) will assist the Sales Team in selling all CampusESP products and services. The Solution Engineer will help prospective partners identify their enrollment and student success goals and show how the solution can help make a change on campus in reaching those goals. 

  • The SE will connect with potential customers, address their problems, and be an active listener to position CampusESP benefits to solve their problems.

  • The SE must have a strong desire to leverage their technical skills, communication skills and work with other departments. The SE needs to be the ultimate team-player, as they must work closely with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure they have the latest information about product enhancements and how they can be leveraged by clients. 

  • The SE must have a fun, energetic, and personable sales delivery (we’re surprising and we value decent, human kindness - an ideal candidate will incorporate these values into their day - to - day interactions). 

  • The SE will act as the subject matter expert throughout the entire pre-sales process, and assist with answering questions, compiling assets and resources, and supporting the Account Executive in disseminating information to prospects.The SE will continually integrate feedback from the field sales organization into all aspects of the team’s work The SE will also work to share feedback and requests from the prospective partners with the Product team at CampusESP.

  • The SE will develop personal subject matter expertise in the CampusESP solution and its key competitive differentiators in the market. Basically, we need someone to be the ultimate cheerleader!

  • The SE will be able to fluently discuss the elements that contribute to student success throughout the entire student lifecycle through parent engagement. The higher education landscape is changing, and we need your knowledge to show prospective partners that we are always growing to change with it!

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in the higher education market, with a strong understanding of student affairs, admissions, and enrollment

  • Experience as a subject matter expert in supporting field sales teams with sales opportunities 

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills 

  • A high level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate, departmental and personal goals 

  • Experience using a CRM system, such as HubSpot
