Head of Partnerships

We believe in three founding principles: our product should be awesome, our customers should be happy, and work should be fun. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join the CampusESP team as our Head of Partnerships.

CampusESP has big plans for 2025 and the Head of Partnerships will be a massive part of them. We are looking for the newest team member to activate business development opportunities between CampusESP and business partners in the edtech and higher ed spaces.

Your daily adventures

Establishing new relationships with HigherEd partners to help drive new business for CampusESP… it’s that simple!

  • Meeting with CampusESP account executives and Sales leadership to plan strategy, walk through pipeline, and define executable tasks.

  • Working with the Executive team to develop quarterly success metrics to drive new biz.

  • Managing the partner pipeline both internally (Sales leadership) and externally (partners).

  • Executing outreach via calls/emails to partner account executives (and campuses) to help build confidence in CampusESP.

  • Managing partner contracts from negotiation to completion.

  • Serving as the point person between CampusESP and our existing partnerships to maintain the relationship.

  • Developing and continuously evolving a top-notch demo strategy for partners and their members institutions.

  • Playing well with others. This role requires collaboration across multiple divisions (Marketing, Account Management, Client Success, Product, and more). If you love working in a silo … this is NOT the job for you!

  • Taking feedback and sharing it! The good, the bad, the ugly … we want to hear it all.

  • Consulting with partners and existing campus clients to fully understand business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of CampusESP solutions and cost benefits.

  • Win baby, win (and celebrating those wins).

  • Drinking coffee (or, from time to time, something stronger) on a semi-regular basis with the CampusESP leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater.

  • 5+ years experience working in edtech or SaaS with a deep understanding of the higher education marketplace. Experience from either side of the table is valuable!

  • Solid skills in sales, marketing, partner relationship management, and product development.

  • Let’s take this show on the road … A willingness/capability to travel (up to 25% of the time) to conferences, partner meetings, etc.

  • Self-starter, able to plan and execute tasks and projects, and achieve goals, with minimal supervision (We’re all grown ups here!).

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • A sense of humor … let’s have some fun while we crush 2025 and beyond!

What now?

Glad you asked. If helping us grow startup sounds exciting to you, we want to hear from you. Please submit a cover letter and resume to Dave Becker, co-founder and CEO, at dave@campusesp.com.
